Fine: Lets go for Romans 11 verses 25-32 but stick with only vs 28 which if I read you correctly and I do, would seemingly bolster your position to the max.
As concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
There are those besides myself on this thread who will correctly argue with you that the Jews are estranged from God and terribly deceived and blinded. Christ said if you have seen me you have seen the Father. If you have accepted me you have accepted the Father. The simple logic would explain that if you have rejected Christ then you have rejected the Father. I do not think that you disagree with me so far: we are mainly talking about the future reconcilliation of the Jews to the Father, and you take this a step further and look for the reconcilliation of gentiles, all of them, sinners included, those in or not in Christ, even the devil and all his demons.
I heard a preacher speaking of how the devil hates the Jewish people because they were the ones who brought the temple from heaven to the earth. My theory on why satan hates God and mankind is because as, Paul taught we are now beneath the angels but in eternity we will be above the angels. I feel this is the main reason that satan had a falling out with God. Satan could not stand the thought of being inferior to man. Even if satan is reconciled to God as you predict he will be created beneath man and I still believe that if for no other reason Satan can not stand the thought of this happening.
In no way shape or form will satan allow himself to be in heaven with God under these circumstances.
Getting back to vs. 28.
I agree that Israel will have a national conversion at the time of the second advent and the fullness and the times of the gentile will be fulfilled. Just as Jews are and can be saved today so will gentiles continue to be saved after the second advent.
God calls and gifts w/o repentance. Period. Just as he did so for the Jews who were once called to fulfill God's plan so they shall still do so. But so shall he do the same for the Gentiles who are now called to fulfill God's redemptive plan.
Alan : I just believe that God may call a nation but he saves individuals, Gentile or Jewish.
I played golf with my friend this week. He is not a Christian however he went on and on about the beautiful weather and the conditions and the Spring time vegetation, and the birds and on and on. I thought. God says that he should know him, if for no other reason , but through creation. We all will stand before God. We will give an account. Those not in Christ. God will say , Depart from me workers of iniquity, I never knew you. How much more final is that. That is here where I put my period.
