Yes all this is 100% correct but I was just criticizing your description of clouds as "scrubbers" that were somehow eliminating this issue. It doesn't really matter how the CO2 gets from the atmosphere into the ocean... I don't know how much gets dissolved in rain water and how much incorporated by wave action at the surface, or just diffuses into the ocean.
