Well, as the article/link below(*) explains, you, SAn whites, should get used to it... After all, the first white settlers in Cape Town were political REFUGEES from Catholic Europe: Protestant diehards who would not yield to Europe's Catholic rulers, Huguenots from France, Germany, Holland,... But tell me, why didn't you --I mean, your forefathers, of course-- try to make it at home? White refugees from the XVIIth century on should have fought it out AT HOME --in France, Holland, Spain, etc. They ought to have used their superior skills and abilities to change their homelands, to pull off revolutions AT HOME. Why did you --did they-- have to hit the road and spoil the so far peaceful lives of South Africa's natives? With all your talents, skills, and wisdom, how come you didn't make it in Europe? How come you fetched up down there? I must have missed something?
