I gave all my kids tire valves for xmas as a safety grab bag.

I'm one of those people who are not as attentive to tire pressure as they should be. The reason is that I've bought probably a dozen pressure gauges over the years and none has ever worked well for long so I just got out of the habit. The ones you suggest seem worth a try. Thanks for the suggestion.
