an alternative is to buy a cheap air compressor at stores like pep boys, or other auto stores,, perhaps target,

you buy these things for maybe $50. to $100. take your tire pressure,(these may have a gauge on the air compressor) plug in compressor and fill tires right in your garage.

better than letting car tires go flat on dangerous hgwy, curve , or being stranded.. some places you just do not want to break down when going through them.

I drive maybe 6000 miles a year now. but check tire pressure once a month. will have to adjust pressure only when a major change in temperature from summer to winter and reverse. Otherwise tires are holding the pressure.
