"Most research projects pay subjects." That's true, but I thought DNA testing was really expensive. Most of the cost for testing 100,000 will be picked up by IBM and sponsors, I'm guessing. Interesting that Indians decline to participate because "they know where they came from". Really? Where would that be? I'm still curious about the outcome in the findings related to Kennewick man whose 8,000 year old remains pre-date Asian folks' arrival and the establishment of native Americans on this continent. IMO there's too much bs political correctness. On another tangent....Not to slam lefties, but they have a larger brainstem than us righties, as do criminals on death row. Not that there's a correlation. I read, too, that a dna marker has been found for red hair; as yet, no other hair color. Which leads me back to lefties - they are found in higher percentages among blue-eyed blonds. They also tend to be smarter than the rest of the population. I read this; it must be true! :)
