Ephud:

From Intel's 2004 Annual Report on Page 8 (13 of 101 in pdf):

As of December 2004, we manufactured our products in the wafer fabrication facilities described in the following table:

Products Wafer Process Location
Size Technology
Microprocessors 300mm 90nm New Mexico, Oregon,
Ireland
Microprocessors, 200mm 130nm Oregon, Arizona,
chipsets Massachusetts, California
Flash memory 200mm 130nm New Mexico, Ireland
Chipsets, flash 200mm 180nm, New Mexico, Israel,
memory, other 250nm, Colorado, Ireland
products 350nm

See Intel disagrees with you for 2004. Of course Intel believes that Xscale based network processors are microprocessors and they are moving some of those 130nm 200mm fabs to a 90nm process. Thus they are still only making CPUs in their 300mm fabs. Down farther, they state that they are building 2 more 300mm fabs to be in production this year.

So are you saying Intel is in error?
