As long as you cannot read the real stuff from "The Continent" you don't know what "we" think but only get the Anglosaxian version of that. Start with reading a French daily (I know you read some French, next try the Frankfurter Allgemeine (they have a compressed English language version) and maybe some from Scandinavia. That's what I read. From Germany, Herald Trib, Svenska Dagbladet and sometimes Corriere della Serra. I know that gives me a "Continental" twist to everything only but that's one reason why I spend time on this thread when I am not in San Diego. Taro
