Isa 66:22-24 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Alan: clearly in this passage the new heaven and earth have already been made and still those in the lake of fire are still suffering. My interpretation is that the 1000 year earthly reign will take place, the end of the age, the judgement of sinners, the lake of fire and then the recreation of the heavens and earth, which clearly in this verse is still happening.

Even if I go on your aion to aion...what you take to mean age to age and that all the ages eventually come to an end in your opinion I still cannot grasp how you interpret this to mean a stopping point.

You remember Christ said heaven and earth shall pass away but my words will never pass away.

I take this to mean. NOT that heaven and earth shall pass away but that his words will remain for ever and ever. I could write for ever and ever until the end of time. God doesn't have to say for ever but once to mean that. I think he emphasized by saying it twice but he could have said it only once and that would have meant the same thing. Forever is forever. ends this discourse for me. Lets go on to something besides predestination and a non eternal hell.....In Christ..Gregor
