Statistic Canada predicts by 2017, minorities will become majority (>50%) in major Canadian cities. Chinese immigrants increase the most. 1/3 of them are college educated. Yet, most of these immigrants cannot find a professional job after they come to Canada. The latest data indicate 20% of these Chinese immigrants are now returning back to China.

Canada has left behind in terms of trade with China. Its mining product only counts 1.6% of China’s total, a 75% decline comparing to what it was 20 years ago.

Only 61% of immigrants to Canada in 1990s got a job, far lower than the employment rate of the local (80%).
