I grew up in South Louisiana, and was a full grown woman before I saw a rock bigger than gravel, on a trip to New York.

To me, oil rigs are a beautiful part of the ecosystem.

Apparently, SCUBA divers in the Gulf like to dive off the oil rigs because they act as artificial reefs, attracting a lot of sea life.
