Farmed salmon tastes different to me, as well. It tastes like bland, unhappy salmon that never really experienced the joys of salmonhood. At least this is what I remember from my salmon-eating days. Salmon was one of my very favorite foods before I became a vegetarian. Every morning at work I would have a bagel with salmon cream cheese. What a way to start the morning! Sometimes I ate salmon several times a day . . .
