No one advocated torture.

Yeah...we heard that. That the torture going on in Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib and Afghanistan was the work of a few bad apples. Then it was just co-incidence that Gonzales had been advising the President that torture is legal under certain circumstances.

No one advocated torture...but just like shit happens...so does torture.

Why would you be getting legal advice about torture if you weren't advocating it or contemplating it? You mean you ask your lawyer to do the research on torture just for the heck of it? Hey Gonzy...in your spare time...how's about checking in to a little torture. Or did Gonzales just decide to do the research all on his own?
