Orca: here is the situation.

You have just arrested a man whom you have good evidence to believe is the manager of a suicide bomb operation. Your evidence tells you that you came just too late, he had already dispatched the suicide bomber and his driver (suicide bombers are not sent out alone), driving a truck bomb toward some destination in your city. When it blows, scores or hundreds of innocent people will die. You have all your agents setting up checkpoints looking for the truck bomb, naturally.

But you have before you the man who knows where the truck is going, and when it will blow up. He is a Wahhabi fanatic who believes in the absolute righteousness of this version of jihad. He will not be easy to crack.

How do you question him?

Don't you think it might be useful to have thought about this issue beforehand?

This situation is not just hypothetical, btw. The Israelis have had this "ticking bomb" situation to deal with several times.
