It often seems that you're being willfully obtuse.

1, No, I don't think most people thought that Apple's Mac unit sales increase would be greater than 43%, a figure that Michael Dell would kill his grandmother to achieve.

2, This same thing happened last quarter. Apple reported tremendous increases in Mac unit sales. You said that the fact that they had not reported a market share increase, there couldn't have been any market share increase. (I pointed out that the sales figures for the competition were not yet available, so how could they know?) Later, when IDC finally released the figures for Q4, it turned out that Apple had indeed increased its share.

Why would you insist on making the same completely lame argument you made back then, one based solely on a faulty assumption, when the likelihood is so high that you will just be proved wrong once again?
