Ray, everything in the US seems to be politicized one way or the other including, as it was, the "extermination" of this unfortunate woman. Indeed, it is to be regretted that this was so because the real issues were overtaken by "political correctness" and other irrelevancies.

I take my position from the medical ethics point of view, fundamentally primum non nocere***, and thus, paradoxically, I find myself in the camp of the right wing extremists.
