YOu said sodium pentathol was OK. Sodium pentathol is to torture like lethal injection is to hanging. What we are talking about is forceable extraction of information. You are trying to sanitize things, but not willing to discuss the need to do this which is based on the nature of our enemy and what actions he takes. Philosophically we are all against violence to attain information but i am not willing to let another WTC hit the dirt, if there is something that could be done in advance. There are no rules for terrorists. They are not covered by Geneva period. Mike
