you need to be very careful linking up with a filipina for "companionship". the only way you will get companionship is from a girl who is looking for something in return, and a free look around the p.i. is not what she's got in mind. if you unlucky you will get a girl who will please you every which way you want, you fall in love and she commeces fleecing you. alternativly if your lucky, she will just fleece you, saving you all the emotional trauma attatched to falling in love. they are a rare breed filipina's. gorgeous, the genetic pool is well blessed, enough to make a grown man cry, but after marcos bankrupted the country, they have learned to survive by their wits, they have strong family values, and if they can bag a foreigner they can keep there old man and his cronnies stocked with enough red horse(local beer) and her siblings with rice.
here's the advice bit: get over yourself not wanting a bar girl, it will be a damn side easier getting rid of her when you realize that the two of you have nothing in common accept for great sex, you will have no more in common with a non-bar girl, they are all sly and cunning, if you should meet a non-bar girl, be prepared to meet the entire family, and i can almost gaurantee you that one of her "brothers" youre introduced to, will be her boyfriend or worse her husband.
please dont let me put you off, its a great place with great people, but be very careful of getting cosy with one of them, you'll be the only one who will think it real. the idea is to play the game their way, just play it knowing that she is out to catch you somehow, act stupid, when she tells you she loves you on day 2, you tell her straight back you love her madly, and stay in charge of every sistuation, be it choice of destination, where to eat, where to stay ect...and if you should smell a rat you can be sure you're right. |
