Sigh, the work I have to do to put facts inside the brains of the aggressively ignorant.

1. You are not Schiavo's neurologist.
2. Schiavo's CAT scan showed that her cerebral cortex was filled with spinal fluid. Her brain stem was working so that she had some motor functions. Her brain was not working enough for her to get up, feed herself, understand and comprehend the media frenzy around her no matter how much the televangelist snake oil liars lied about it.
3. Her husband was very protective of her even taking her to California for cutting edge treatment and seeing to it that she didn't even have a bed sore in 15 years. He is not required to be a saint, just to act in a legal manner.
4. Her parents loved her husband and even encouraged him to date. That went away when they fought over...MONEY.
5. Mr. Schindler pulled the plug on his own parents.
6. If my memory is correct, Schivao's was the most heard case of its kind in the US. It banged up against the Supremes something like 5 times. It went through something like 36 hearings in front of some 17 judges including conservative Republicans.
7. Schiavo required Medicaid to pay for her drugs, meanwhile the state of Florida was shutting off ER access to the poor while Republicans try and kill Medicaid/Medicare.
8. Rightwingers and American Fake Christian Taliban were and still are using this poor woman's tragedy to RAISE MONEY from the aggressively stupid.
