Hello All: I was reading the latest UPR release and found this sentence interesting and positive for NAE.

``We are very encouraged with the results from the Bearcat well,'' said George Lindahl III, UPR's President and Chief Operating Officer. ``The continued use of 3-D seismic technology makes possible the discovery of significant new reservoirs, such as the Cotton Valley Reef. UPR will continue to leverage the technical expertise of our employees with the latest technology available to allow the Company to participate in high impact prospects while minimizing our risk.''

I certainly hope that Mr. Lindhal is including us in the category of "latest technology available". We should know soon.

BTW, the Bearcat Unit located in East Texas looks like a monster producer. The pressure seems very high:
"Union Pacific Resources Group Inc. (NYSE:UPR) today announced the successful completion of the Bearcat Unit #1 well in the Cotton Valley Reef formation in East Texas. The important new well, locked in Leon County, Texas, was perforated in the first of three productive Cotton Valley Reef zones and tested at a rate in excess of 26 million cubic feet per day (MMcfd) of natural gas with flowing tubing pressure of 7,010 pounds per square inch on a 26/64 inch."
