WATERTOWN, N.Y., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Jreck Subs Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: JSUB), the company that brought fast food to small towns with its Jreck Sub Shops, today announced that it acquired Giorgio's Subs, a seven-unit chain based in Seattle, Washington.

According to Jreck CEO Christopher Swartz, ``The Giorgio's sandwich is a high-quality product, and the company is located in a market that we have strongly committed to develop.'' Earlier this year Jreck acquired 53 Seawest Sub Shops, also based in Seattle.

Jreck Subs Group, Inc. now has over 190 operating units in 12 states. The company is on target to meet its aggressive expansion goal of 300 units by year-end.

In addition to this acquisition, Jreck has signed agreements to open stores in Ohio, Connecticut, Oklahoma, and New York markets. The company is also negotiating with developers in Georgia, South Carolina, Colorado, Michigan and New Jersey.

Any comments? I wonder if they're going to keep the name. Also, why in Seattle - I thought their strategy was to concentrate on SMALL towns?!?
