We agree on that! I'm not sure Bush has weighed in on the "nukular option", but I'm sure he's for anything that gets him his way. Bush seems unconcerned for events beyond his term. I think some of the longer term thinkers among the Republicans realize they won't be the majority forever and will have to live with what they do now - but they may be forced to cave.
Clinton had as many judicial nominees or more blocked, and responded by offering nominees more acceptable to the Republicans. It's not Bush's style, though.
