Equity funds report net cash inflows totaling $497 million in the week ended 4/13/05 with $824 million going to Non-Domestic funds and Domestic funds reporting net cash outflows totaling -$327 million;
Largest Domestic Equity inflows are reported by Equity Income funds ($245 Mil);
Largest Domestic Equity outflows are reported by Small Cap Growth/Value funds (-$951 Mil) led by ETF outflows: -$653 million from the iShares Russell 2000 Index fund and -$104 million from the iShares Russell 2000 Growth Index fund;
International Equity funds report net cash inflows of $661 million with inflows to Europe funds and Japan funds as outflows are reported by Asia Pacific xJapan funds (-23 Mil) and Latin America funds (-$12 mil) led by ETF outflows:
-$15 Mil from the iShares Mexico Index fund (-7.1% of Fund Assets)
-$37 Mil from the iShares Hong Kong Index fund (-5.9 % of Fund Assets);
Emerging Markets Equity funds overall report net cash inflows totaling $137 million;
Financial/Banking funds report net cash outflows of -$201 million let by the Select Sector SPDRs Financial fund (-$99 Mil);
Healthcare/Biotech funds report net cash inflows totaling $248 million with large ETF inflows:
$137 million to the Select Sector SPDRs Healthcare fund
$49 million to the NASDAQ Biotech Index fund;
Taxable Bond funds report net cash outflows totaling -$217 million with largest outflows reported by Government Bond funds investing in Mortgage-backed securities (-$390 Mil) and Corporate Bond funds investing in High Yield securities (-$196 Mil);
Largest Taxable Bond inflows are reported by Balanced funds ($207 Mil) and International & Global Debt funds ($121 Mil);
Money Market funds report net outflows of net outflows of -$8.388 billion;
Municipal Bond funds report net outflows of -$277 million, although High Yield Municipal Bond funds report net cash inflows totaling $58 million.
