OK. Here is a stab below supports to shake out the weak hands.

SP:

Now, for SP, 1160 was resistance all through 2004. 200 day MA is at 1153. A gap down tomorrow in this zone that holds in the first hour, should be bought with a stop at first hour low. If the low breaks, head and shoulder measures to around 1097.

QQQQ:

Looks like free fall but they will probably bring it back to 36. Again if the first hour low holds, I expect a rally.

VIX at 14.53 closing is 10% above 10 day SMA and EMA. I expect the markets to find lows over next few sessions, if not tomorrow.

To digress a bit from TA: GM is at 13-year low. The low point in 1987 was at around 20 and 1992 was at 22. At this level the dividend becomes almost 9-10%.

Bargain hunters will be looking hard for stuff like this. It becomes a mattress stuffer.
