And, whom do you blame. the people, obviously not ready for handling credit, or the banks that brazenly push those cards on them? I remember when I was young I had to JUMP THROUGH HOOPS just to get a damn gas card. Later, I borrowed $250 from a bank, put it IN THE BANK and paid it off FROM THE BANK over 6 months JUST to ESTABLISH credit so I COULD get a card. Today, even DOGS get sent cards. I was opposed to this bankruptcy law because I envision banks even more forceably pushing credit on young people, then collecting USUROUS interest rates all the while threatening to DESTROY THE INDIVIDUALS LIFE if they dont PAY FOR PROTECTION. This is a RACKET IMHO. jdn
