I suspect your technical abilities are Tops, at least I am impressed.

I get by. In the b&w darkroom I was once tops, but that's all history now. In the digital darkroom I am now where I was a quarter century ago, in the analog one. But, got a whole another quarter century to fill, so no complaints.

All art is subjective and personal, one mans wine can be anothers vinegar......

Absolutely. For example, the link you gave me?

browse.deviantart.com

Been there before. Doesn't do much for me. Strikes me a a lot of pseudo-commercial looking stuff, all of it (that I have seen) just derivative visual pollution. So yeah, to each their own, I fully understand that.

hope you have a newer computer....

Two G3 iBooks. Not the newest, but still plenty good, for now...

As I mentioned in an earlier post, what makes the National Geographic Afghan girl so great....?

Never thought of it as great, though others obviously think it's the best thing since peanut butter.

A Jet flying into the WTC........??

May stop me for a moment, but will hardly become one of the images -- by say, Henri Cartier-Bresson, or Josef Koudelka, or Josef Sudek -- that are forever etched in my brain.

I'm sure your street shots appeal to a lot of people...just not my cup of tea....

Understood. Believe me. I'm very particular as well, as you may have noticed. (g)

Best,

Michal
