Hi Pat

Folks on the Yahoo mesenger thread are really trashing Dell.
But Kemble is right, as this chart shows.
Its one powerful buy and hold stock.

finance.yahoo.com

Where its costly is to try to get back on board, or to think that Dell will return to the golden days of 100% growth.

Stocks with a reputation like Dell and IBM are a gift to the brokers as trading stocks.
I am pondering just how many billions have have been lost over the years as investors bought (and then sold) IBM just on its remote past reputation. And the same would be true for Yahoo or Qcom, or many others.
I would place a bet that twice as much has been lost by common investors for every dollar they made expecting a repeat performnce.

I cant even guess which way this market is going, even the Fed admits that fuel costs are going to affect hamper growth.

Regards

Sig
