I have been using FF for about 6 months and really like it. Recently, I have been getting many time-outs on sites that formerly loaded quickly. Usually, immediately refreshing the request will bring the page up quickly, but the total elapsed time from initial request to final page display is l-o-n-g.

I did the "pipelining" mod several months ago and it worked well... as predicted.

The only factor that has changed recently is my ISP... Verizon DSL... doubled the access speed, according to their TV ads. (I haven't noticed a significant difference.)

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any thoughts or suggestions? TIA

John
