This information is from Keith. Keith told me that they (Compaq) had a meeting planed in the very near future to discuss the R&D on the Mytec product.
It is my understanding that Compaq paid Mytec in the past to see if they could come up with a product for their line of computers. Keith states the fact that they are coming up to retalk this contract has shown that Compaq is still interested in Mytec's product.
Where this meeting leads is still any ones guess at this point unless someone knows something we do not.
I hate to be the one that states this but I think the product timed for next year is the real winner in design. This will mean more waiting however!
Can we wait this out, I think we can. Any other views?
This has been a long time coming to the market but when Keith said they will blow the doors off the market with the new product I believe him.
Much smaller and much less cost is the idea. If this product was to sell at $400.00 per system and it works the way they stated it does in Canadain Business were all laughing.
The market is the 40,000,000 pentiums per year that are marketed right now. There are 100,000,000 pentiums in the market right now so that's a lot of computers.
I feel we are right on the edge of some real good news as well as some good results.
