There is a wonderful documentary about Rove. I watched it on either Sundance,PBS or IFC... It went way back to when he first discovered his propensity for being able to manipulate the media,other politicians who might be opposing the man he was supporting. He would really stoop to anything. I was fascinated. Very clever.. Once he even bugged his own office and then accused the opposition candidate of doing it. Of course he had the proof.The cameras came in and there it was... a hidden microphone. This film illustrated to me one thing. If I were running for political office I would NOT want to have ROVE courting my opposition candidate. IN his unscrupulous activities he can really do ANYTHING. I would not put anything past this man. So whatever anyone would suggest that Rove did..to insure that G.W. got into office.. go to the extreme if you will... I would not put it past him at all. A very bright and savy politician.
