You hit that one right.

I am a big fan of LLTC. I sold too early this time to put the money elsewhere after a decent gain.

When I bought LLTC I had found it in the S&P midcap 400 book. I noticed there that it is typical for LLTC to trade through a PE range of 20-40 in any given calendar year. I bought when it traded below 20X but shifted the funds elsewhere when it was approaching 30X. It is now trading at 40X and if I had had the patience to hold this long I would be considering selling with the goal of buying back in when it is lower in its PE range.

I'm not knocking the company. IMO it is extremely well managed, but the markets do get emotional and they do over and under value companies all the time. In my experience, brokerage firm recommendations are more likely to lag than to lead company performance.

Good Luck to all.

Stuart.
