The rightwing CIA MK-ULTRA started the psychedelic revolution. They tested LSD on thousands of unwitting Americans mainly in the 50's and one of them, Ken Kesey, stole some and took it home. The rest is history. MK-ULTRA may have also released bad acid into the hipster community in the late 60's. After all, it was a chemical weapons program. Psychological WMD's like STP. Bush Sr. also worked for Lilly which synthesized a harmful new form of acid after the CIA bought up Sandoz's supply. MK-ULTRA may have also been behind Oswald, Sirhan and the other "lone nuts". Ironic that MK ULTRA have have been responsible for both the rightwing assassinations and the "hippie" psychedelic revolution both.
