Doug: I respectfully disagree. Intel is behind on performance, and is pushing dual core into unprepared, high volume markets (mobile and desktop) to try to drive these mainstream and thereby cap AMD marketshare growth on capacity. Their Smithfield pricing plans speak volumes here. I think that AMD's targeting of dual core at servers (which can actually use them), together with "spanking" Intel glue-cores with high end, small die size, single core FX or A64's makes lots of sense. We need to avoid commoditization of dual core until Fab 36 and Chartered are on line.
