Maybe we could be more civil about this and set a date like they do in Europe. England has set it at 24 weeks - anything before is ok and anything after is illegal. Of course with medical advances they are considering moving the bar to 20 weeks.

Now the pro-abortion types are fighting any such thoughts - they defend 3rd term partial birth abortions with the same fervor they do morning after pills. The anti-choice types want to defend everything. Can there be no middle ground?

Personally I am against abortion, but am also against the death penalty. So I am not defending Ted Bundy and killing viable infants, or defending 1 day old zygotes and looking to fry criminals - but thats just me.

The Euro approach would be interesting for the Supremes to consider - after all it has international backing and precedent.
