Salmon feel joy?

Do they laugh at subtle salmon jokes?

Beam with pride at the accomplishments of their smolt?

Engage in witty repartee with their salmon friends at salmon cocktail parties?

My criteria for acceptable salmon to dine on excludes joyfulness.

It has more to do with a ranking hierarchy that goes along the lines of:

King (also known as Chinook. I prefer fish from the Copper River area)
Silver (also known as Coho)
Sockeye

Forget about Pinks and Chum.

And never, never, bother with Atlantic Farm Raised salmon.

Ecccccccch.
