actually he's thinking there will be a flight to "quality" move into bonds....albeit an emotional reaction, given the question...where else would frightened sheep go.

however, given the risk the fed must continue to raise to protect the dollar.... moving to bonds is a risk filled proposition... let alone the interest risk if foreign dollar holders decide to sell the currency as well, with or w/o the fed making a move.

the prior issue had to do with the strange moves in the long and short periods on thursday.... very very strange and unusual until the real emotional panic we saw on friday.
