I dunno what the answer is. Maybe cap medicare, etc at 100K/ admission, and then, if the family wants, they can pick up the rest of the tab.

Viewing it as an enemy has led to significant medical advance. Would you have PTCA if docs said "Oh, well, heart attacks are fatal."?

but I have talked to my kids. Trouble is, I still consider mice elf healthy enuf that I probably would want them to go full tilt boogie if something acute happens, so I don't want to say DNR this early in life.
