Jim, Re: China Meltdown, I can see why problems inside China could cause a slowdown in imports into China, but can't figure out why exports coming out of China would slow down. Of course as energy bulls we want China to be healthy and big oil importers. On the other hand, for the first time, I think the China crash crowd may have a point - the Chinese government is obviously encouraging a popular expression of anti-Japan hatred. This kind of thing is typical of weak governments trying to distract public attention away from government policy failures. Better hope the recent "pollution riots" are an isolated event.
