Not really. There isn't any record, letter, report or anything much at all that mentions him except for the Bible. The Roman Empire was all through that region. The walking on water, raising the dead, feeding of the multitudes, etc, etc would be headline items in any culture. I guess you can blame it all on the liberal media not covering the story, but...

Remember that what became the Catholic Church took over the Roman Empire. They would have loved to've gotten their hands on any such documentation.

FWIW, I think there actually was an individual who preached what Jesus is supposed to have preached about 2k years ago in that region. But some of his followers, as True Believers are wont to do, embellished the story somewhat. Personally I don't think his message or teachings needed any embellishing. But PR and spin are not a modern invention...
