Probably very few people these days remember that before Roe v. Wade, abortion was legal in at least five states, and that the "health of the mother" included mental health, including something as subjective as mere happiness.

I was there, I worked at a place that tested women for pregnancy, I sent them to other places to get abortions based on "the health of the mother," which was happiness.

I wouldn't really expect a man to remember that far back.

And then there is the terrible problem of intellectual honesty, or rather, the lack thereof.
