HONG KONG — Thousands of workers staged a strike at an electronic parts manufacturing plant operated by a Japanese-affiliated company in Dongwan City, Guangdong Province, on Saturday, with some of them burning Japan's national flag, according to a Hong Kong cable TV report.

The Japanese consulate in the province's Guangzhou City is now trying to confirm the report. (Kyodo News)
