You guys are such damn ingrates- think of the lives that I, in my awesome power alone in the early morning hours, could have bestowed on you. The mind reels at the possibilities- I could have made you Donalda Phluff, a girl in my kindergarten class with bright red hair and the most disgusting habit imaginable that I can't even bring myself to write about, but I will tell you that it involved the midmorning milk break, her nose and a milk carton as repository. I have never been able to drink chocolate milk because of her. Or I could have made you quarterback on my high school football team the night we lost to Staunton 81-0. I was a cheerleader-and if you think screaming "Defense! De-fense!" with conviction in the fourth quarter of that game was easy...Or I could have made you -oh, my capacity for wickedness knows no boundaries-- Al Gore!
