The content owners - TV channels/netowrks, movie studies, ... are still reluctant to give away theirs contents to telcos and MSO for VoD - afraid of adverse impact on their DVD sales, possible piracy, and sharing the profit with the distributors.

But they mignt be interested in using a fat pipe provider to set up their own VoD programs on the Internet for better control over the programs, direct feed back from vierwers, higher profit margin, ...

Here are a few direct VoD and IP-TV programs on the Web. Some are fee-based (pay per view/download, monthly subscription etc), and some are free. with quality varying.
