First, entrepreneurs create enterprises. Second, entrepreneurs take personal risk that the enterprise they have created will succeed (or fail.)
You know the details of what you do better than I do, of course, but the way you describe it, you're along for the ride because you speak English and are charming and amusing, so you get a cut whether the business being transacted is buying or selling. If they want your advice, you give it, otherwise you tell jokes.
You see them all enthusiastic, panting to invest, and you see them tottering off, all broken down, and either way, you get paid.
That's not being an entrepreneur. You're window dressing. Likeable, calming, charming.
It's a worthwhile function, of course, because otherwise you wouldn't get paid. |
