I've read his bio in the Ramtron annual report. I guess his ties to nuclear energy is what led him to Benton who set him up as Ramtron's CEO.

Because of his ties with American Express, I was expecting more from him. I guess that's why I consider him more baggage than bag tag. He has sold every option that came his way, his right of course. I'm not complaining, but his actions give the impression he's a draw on the company, cashing in on what he believes he is owed and not doing much in return. Ramtron will do just as well with out him. Another thing, his leaving will mark a crack in the hold Benton has had on Ramtron. Most of the top officers were hired by Benton.

Have you ever wonder why a tech company has never made an equity placement in Ramtron? Well I have. We wouldn't have had to go through the Benton Dark Ages had another big hitter stepped up. It is not uncommon for a company like MOT or NS to make an equity placement in a company who's technology they believe in and use. It would be a big boost to Ramtron. I'm hoping if we get some new board members, and that will happen if someone aquires 5% of shrs outstanding, then we may see something like this.

I think the only thing holding an equity placement back is the cloud Ramtron has on its FRAM patent. In which case, NS is the most likely candidate, but since they already have Ramtron by the FRAMs why do it. Just thinking out loud and all that.

On another note. Did any catch the 11:00 reversal on RMTR today? It ran up to 8 7/8 by 11:03 EDT. Then it reversed and fell back to 8 1/2 by 12:00. Funny how things work--like clock work, isn't it. Granted, I was lucky today.

BTW, why do I feel Hiram has gotten religion in his old age?
