Hi Slagle....... My family was originally from Donaldsonville Ga, Still have tons of aunts and uncles there. Yeah, I remember when there wasn't a whole lot at Longoboat. We used to go out to the old abandoned Ringling hotel that was there and goof around as kids. I hear now they are trying to make the beach road private (but they are more than happy to take the taxpayers money to pump in sand every few years)... Ha! I had a paper-route on Old County line road (now University Parkway). Back than it was an old dirt road loaded with trash shacks. The place used to be so nice and its trashed up now in my opinion. Some places in North Florida are still nice but that will change I'm sure nonrev
