<iThis should invite a counter announcement that some third org will be monitoring the border ensure that treasonous or other illegal immigration assistance behavior does not occur

I thought that was the Minutemen's job. They watch the illegals and the counter-protesters and human rights demonstrators who might help the illegals. The local authorities watch to see that the above parties don't mix it up. And the ACLU purportedly observes and reports.

Now, if you're throwing the ACLU in with the counter-protesters and human rights demonstrators, who is there to observe? Maybe we should call Jimmy Carter and his crew.

The anticipated mix beginning on April 1 will include Minutemen, counter-protesters, demonstrators in support of the human rights of migrants, Border Patrol and FBI agents, and possibly local authorities. The ACLU of Arizona will provide legal observers as it has for other events. The observers are neutral observers and recorders and not participants, noted ACLU of Arizona Board President Stan Furman, a former Arizona State Senator.
