Dan,

More food for thought re: your comments:

"I'm not complaining, but his actions give the impression he's a draw on the company, cashing in on what he believes he is owed and not doing much in return. Ramtron will do just as well with out him."

What makes you think George is not doing much in return? His longstanding experience, contacts and knowledge in Japan surely were instrumental in negotiating and consumating major licencing deals with the Japanese.

"We wouldn't have had to go through the Benton Dark Ages had another big hitters stepped up."

The fact of the matter is that NOONE did step up other than Benton and NECA (pension fund). Ramtron would not be here today if not for their equity investments and loans in the late 80's and early 90's. They funded ALL of RMTR's development and R&D during those years! The problems with the company are not necessarily the major stockholders or directors, albeit an easy target. The problems are inherent in the technology itself! The delays in getting FRAM to commercial production has held this company back. I think this has more to do with the technicians, engineers, managers than major stockholders and directors.
