Hi Sig,

I for one would love to "lose the bet" on black Monday, or any other day.

For the most part, I've always traded stocks in my IRA. This way I avoided all the tax issues and paper work that goes along with filling out the tax forms. Those trades that have been made in a taxable account were always cash trades. Never wanted to get involved with margin and the possible margin calls.

I too am down for the year. Down about 3% on my total portfolio. So, not to bad, as long as it doesn't get worse. I've tighten up on my stop loss limits. I would rather get taken out than ride the market down. Can always buy back in at a lower price.

By the way, did you get my PM that I sent you a few days ago?
Can help but wonder if we worked across the street from each other when you were at Northrop.
