Shades, you are right. Not many Chinese are interested in "western walmart type foods"<g>. Ask the Chinese immigrants here in the US, I bet you will find majority of them go to Chinese restaurants more often, and cook Chinese cuisine all the time<g>. Chinese culture is die-hard<g>.

And I have to give credit to the flexibility of those US companies<g> doing business in China. They almost always adept to local Chinese taste as long as they can make money<g>

If you go to local McDonald or KFC, you can see plenty of Chinese flavors. So sometimes Chinese are wondering, are they selling western fast food or Chinese fast food?<g>
